The transition to a low carbon built environment presents a major opportunity to reshape the retrofit supply chain so that it is more inclusive, representative, and resilient. However, many groups, particularly women, ethnic minorities, young people, disabled people, and those from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds, remain under-represented in technical, managerial, and decision making roles across retrofit related sectors.
