Ventilation in practice with Aereco | RISE Masterclass

In this masterclass, we’re joined by ventilation specialist Vince House from Aereco to explore why air movement and the control of that air movement is fundamental to successful retrofit delivery.

Drawing on project experience including Thamesmead with Peabody, and other local authority schemes, this session explores how ventilation strategies have been implemented in real-world settings, and will cover how ventilation interacts with existing buildings; and how delivery teams adapt in practice.

We’ll explore the challenges of working in occupied homes, balancing performance with practicality, and ensuring that ventilation systems function as intended once installed not just on paper.

The session will also reflect on how approaches to ventilation have evolved, and what current programmes can learn from earlier schemes.
