Engaging people in retrofit

Alleviating fuel poverty | RISE Masterclass

This masterclass will investigate the specific impacts of combatting fuel poverty as a result of retrofitting. Benefits not only include those to the environment, but improving living conditions for residents who are experiencing the rising levels of fuel poverty.

Retrofitting a property and reducing fuel poverty will benefit a multitude of residents, for example families, those who are vulnerable and young residents. Reducing fuel poverty will not only have physical benefits, but also economic benefits of increasing disposable income, and knock-on social benefits such as improved education.
