Nature series: Communicating with residents through nature | RISE Masterclass

This masterclass will introduce an emerging conceptual model for nature-based resident engagement, proposing that embedding nature into retrofit communication strategies could improve understanding, trust, and uptake at scale. Drawing on adjacent evidence from biophilic design, place attachment research, and early case study work, it will explore whether communicating with residents in terms rooted in their local natural environment can make retrofit more engaging and meaningful.

This is a proposed framework, not a proven methodology, and the session is designed to be a collaborative space to interrogate, refine, and build on the idea together.
