FENC and Reconciliation Guidance

Introduction

The Department for Energy Security & Net Zero (DESNZ) have created the guides below to help Warm Homes recipients use the Grant Recipient Portal.

Guide 1 – A Grant Recipient’s Guide to Reconciliations and Adjustments:
Reconciliation is the end of year financial review to identify any variation from funding received and reported spend. This guide will explain the notification of adjustments in the GR portal and how to respond to any adjustments recommended.

Guide 2 – How to upload RA and FMP files on the GR Portal:
This guide is a step by step on how to use the GR portal for Fraud Risk Assessment and Fraud Management Plan file uploads. 

Guide 3 – Rolling Performance Tracking: Understanding Milestones and RAG Ratings:
Milestones and RAG ratings help report progress against Baseline KPIs. This guide will support GR’s to interpret Baselines vs Actuals and RAG ratings for monthly reporting. Linking phasing to addresses will also be covered in this content.

Guide 4 – Risk Management Enhancements for Grant Recipients:
Using the Risk Management features on the Portal will support GR’s programme and project management. This guide will help you to create review and close risks in the portal.

Guide 5 – Creating and Updating Fraud and Error Actions:
This guide will help GR’s to create, track and update their fraud cases and understand the statuses that fraud actions may receive. 

Guide 6 – A guide to DESNZ Drawdown Request Form Updates for Grant Recipients:
This guidance has been updated and will help with Challenge Fund and Strategic Partner Awards and reviewing limits and validations in the portal. 

Guide 7 – A guide to DESNZ Phase Request Form Enhancements:
This how to guide will help you to review Phase Requests from field amendments, monitor the progress and how to receive emails regarding approval decisions. 

Guide 8 – Complaints Management for Grant Recipients:
Grant Recipients can raise complaints to DESNZ for all schemes. This guide shows GR’s how to raise complaints via the support page and review email notifications when complaints are closed.
